When determining your homes value I take many variables into consideration.  These variables include location, age of home, size of lot, condition of home, layout (example; a 4 bedroom home is worth considerably more than a 2 bedroom of the same size), area amenities (cable, city water, city sewer etc.) and many other variables.  Leaving this task to an agent with little or no experience can leave money on the table for you or worse have your listing priced so high that no one will look at the home and it sits on the market for way to long.  Getting the price right is one of the most important parts of deciding who you should hire to market your home.
